THE BACKGROUND DANCER

However small the world may be, the dance and performing arts industry is indeed a vast and diverse one. While the likes of Akram Khan and Sylvie Guillem have performed well beyond the twilight of their careers, the average retirement age for dancers stands at 35. The golden questions is: WHAT COMES NEXT?

Say no to clueless post-performance meandering anymore and grasp your career by the scruff of its neck! If you are willing to become part of an intelligent, assured and initiative community; one who thinks of dance not as a subset, but as a cog in the ever breathing and working machine of the arts and culture, then we welcome you here with open arms 😃
